Not exactly my original concept for the shell game, but since I couldn't keep the plexiglass clean enough for an up from under shot... This was a bit of a pain to shoot because I was using sunlight through a window and I had to keep rearranging everything as it moved.

Nice lighting and I applausd you for leaving this in color even thought the lighting is screaming at you to go with Black and White the elements scream COLOR.
Now *that's* ligting control. Nicely done. Compositionally, it might be more interesting with the ball less centered - maybe closer to one of the nutshells flipped over? Some oversharpening shows in the edges of the shadows and tops of the nutshells.
The lighting effect here is interesting but i think this particular effect and composition of this photo may offer more visual impact if the photo was taken in the horizontal orientation instead of vertical. There is too much empty space in the bottom of the frame to suit my own tastes.
