Hey congrat's on this 7th place finish! I didn't notice you were right on my tail ;) It would have been really cool to have ribboned together. Maybe next time, but I have a feeling you're due first. And you have had some great finishes in the last few challenges!
This is quite a different processing method for you, but I like it.. if the eye were a *little* sharper.. wow.. but as it stands, it's a very good, happy shot. We need to see more of her curls too. lol.
Great photo for this theme. The composition works great, really keeps the eye moving, and the happy look makes for a really enjoyable photography. Excellent Work. Got my vote for sure.
Hope you don't get marked down for the blown out white parts. I thing they work in this image and that they are for a purpose. It's a 9. I would give it a 10 if the eye was so damn crispy focus.
10.... gota be the winner! beautiful capture.. i love the grain... and the hi tones. and the cheaky knowing grin... makes the little one look disturbingly (in a good way) grown up. Congrats.
I am amazed you were able to get the child to hold the pose long enough for the shot! I really like this one and wish you much luck! If I were going to critique about anything, it would be the right hand being a little too blown out as it draws my eyes from the childs eye...
