The colours in the CDs are gorgeous, but it would have been better if you'd played with framing one CD rather than this grouping. The background isn't very complementary... the colour is dull, and it has visible ripples.
Wonderful composition and arrangement of the disks. The background is interesting, too. My main question is this: Certainly pi helps to make circles, but do circles in and of themselves mean pi? The radial reflections help, but I'm still just a tad unconvinced. Still, very engaging and pleasing image.
it would have been very cool if i had seen pi reflected off of the cds, or they were in the shape of pi, but as it is i'm not seeing a great fit for the challenge. from the quality of the photo perspective, i think by adjusting the light you could have made the background 'invisible' which might have made the picture more powerful.
