oh man. that was a great idea! the shadow looks perfect. it's a damn shame you didn't do this on a flat white surface, i bet it would have done extremely well. thanks for checking out my color shot. it was a normal desaturation, because everything in the background was blue.
Very creative! How did you get this to stand up? It looks like you glued the cross-bar to the other two knives, but did you tape the supports to the carpet?
I like the background here, and the shadow makes an interesting addition. For me, I think it would be more effective if the knives were actually in focus.
very original idea, gives off a impressive visual impact. focus is right on, you even have some refection of the carpet on the knives. nice shadows from the lighting too.
