WOW! This picture reaches out and grabs you, you want to look at it because there is so much to see and none of it is busy. The lines of the mountain raise your eyes to the beautiful blue sky and then it brings them back down to the interesting foreground. Your photo has met the challenge well.
Background/ Foreground
The sky is sharp and the colors are bright and crisp. The foreground has just enough detail to hold your interest without taking away from the beautiful rock peak.

As far as the technical aspect of the picture the shot has great focus and DOF.

This photo should have placed higher but with every challenge you never know how the votes will stack.

How did you get the pic so sharp? I've been stuggling with this. The only comment I have is that it's so sharp it almost seems cut out and stuck on the sky background. Great picture though, especially like the foreground.
Really like the color. The focus looks a lilttle off, but that could just be my monitor or my eyes, so I'm not counting that agianst you. ;)
The peak looks 3D with the way the sky looks behind it.
