Um, very, very last minute, not well thought out, why-dont-i-just-enter-something picture. I was shooting flowers around the yard today and thought whis one could be post-proc'd enough for the Dreams challenge. I didn't even know what stamen was - had to look up flower parts and come up with a lame title.
Did some burning, saturating, radial zoom blur. No cropping at all though.

Way back when, I scored this a 4. I must admit that was way too low. I've learned a lot since then and appreciate things a little differently. It would probably score a 7-8 from me now. :-) Love the radial blur and the tack sharp focus of the stamen. The DOF/perspective of the petals is particularly striking and I think the colors are great. The crop may be a tad tight, but nice work and apologies for the low ball.
Nice, I like the soft focus and think it was the correct choice for this challenge. Good colours and focus and pretty much the only thing I could say that could have been done better is the composition wich I think is too centered and I personally don“t find this very interesting. Gave it an 8 though, I like it.
You haven't lived until you've chugged ranch dressing. That being said, wonderful photo. It's art not because you or I think it's art, but because flowers are art by default.
