Very interesting abstract effect you have achieved here! Not personally my favorite, but definitely draws the attention away from whatever the scene was and directs it simply to the color that is there... it meets the challenge quite well. I think the shot may have been improved a bit if the bottom were cropped off slightly, removing the faint red 'smear' and keeping the overall shot consistent.
