If this had been illuminated by flickering flames the shadows might have concealed the lack of detail on the skulls which reveal that they are small, cheep bits of plastic.
Very clear image....great focus. I think that the lighting gives it something of a yellow feel, which may be what you were going for. I'm curious to know what it would look like with a little more shadow, or perhaps just a less intense light. But a well captured shot nonetheless.
This subject is very morbid - I can't relate to it. As far as the photgraphic quality, I think that it is over saturated and something more seems not quite right with the lighting. I think you could have used the same subject in a different composition - and created a much more interesting photo.
