In bloom, but just tired and laying down? I like this shot, but the placement of the stem in the shot makes it look like this flower is 'tired' - and since it looks SO full of life - it just contrasts to me. Anyways... "good shot."

Good lighting and DOF. The contrast from light to dark makes the flower look really really yellow. This reminds me of the pittsburg steelers with the black and gold.
