well, I don't know too much about photography, but I would just like to say that this is a beautiful photo to the eye, and I think that it should have done a lot better!
Excellent choice of color. I like the focus and the detail is clear. One of the better flower pics this week. (Different color from typical choices too - good). I want to move in on these just a hair - see what's going on even more... but great job. 8
Very, VERY pretty. This is a job well done. Nice spring photo. The only thing I don't like is the black border. Perhaps, if there had to be a border, making it the color of the dark pink center of the blossoms would make it appealing...or having a very thin dark pink on the inside and a wider light pink on the outside. Just a suggestion.
really nice pink coloured flowers for this time of year, they give off such a rich vibrant smell to them (I wish) :] Good focus, very interesting photograph.
Very beautiful shot! The shallow DOF works very well to draw my attention to the central subject; I also like the almost pink hue imparted to the entire shot (intentionally or not). Well done!
I like the color and DOF in this photo. This looks like the kind of result I get when I use my 50mm f/1.8 lens wide open. The out of focus areas are nice and smooth which is very pleasing to the eye. I am not thrilled, however, by the dark area on the bottom right side of the photo. It might work if you just cropped it out along with the OOF area on the top of the photo. I think the subject is a little too centered for my taste. You might run a light USM over this one to sharpen it up a little more. I think this is a good effort and I gave it a 6.
