RAW adjustments to curves, chroma/hue and white balance. Then in Paint Shop Pro I cropped, adjusted hue/sat and color balance, ran through Neat Image, then reduced size, applied USM and applied the Clarify filter (contrast).

Chickadees are some of my favorite birds! Great use of DOF! To be more perfect the tip of the tail would have to be present. Still one of my favorites in this challenge.
There is just something very sweet about this picture, the littleness of the chickadee?... How small and frail the little bird seems? ...I find myself caring deeply for this tiny creature...one of my favorites.
Nice image. Nice Shallow DOF. It's interesting that the background has the same types of colors and the forground, yet your choice to blow the background details out, make this a very enjoyable image to view. <7>
