Interesting idea, although the rings could've used lots more sharpness. Lighting seems too much and the shadow work on the white background is very buggy. 5
composition is static and the the crop is too tight. The detail on the subject is ok and I like the flare a bit, but the background color is too close to that of the rings.
I'm not sure if I like that much of a star on the diamond face. I'm sure everyone is flipping back and forth on that one depending on preference. I like the clarity of the rings and the lighting thoughout the rest is very well done. 9
Simple composition...it works just fine. Nice sparkle in the diamond. Lighting may be just a shade hot. What is reflecting in the mans ring? Looks like the edge of a table or a persons head? Overall - nice shot. Good luck.
Nice photo.. nice hard light it works. looks like a smudge in the top middle of the photo didn't mark you down because of that just something that caught my eye.
Not sure if the soft focus was an intentional effect or just slightly out of focus.
After seeing a nuber of ring compositions, had the one ring (with diamonds) been partially propped on the plain band, the overall effect would probably have looked a little better.
Still a good submission regardless.
