Sweet capture! I love the black of the (?)birch tree! Birds are so difficult, even with good lenses, to capture convincingly. This is an extremely successful pic (IMHO)!

Good use of contrsting colors. It seems a little static with the center of attention in the center of the photo.

Nice shot of the Cardinal, however I think this image would have worked much better for this challenge had you used DOF or some other method to seperate your cardinal from the rest of the image, making the cardninal clearly the main focus of the shot. <5>
