 Routine crossing from Kingston to Edmonds Washington. With lurking Mt. Baker and a rather large container ship, the little wind-boats had a bit to compete with.

rainer? i like the way the sailboat sticks out, might be to much going on though in the picture and im drawn to the mountain and the big boat

You should never have to tell the viewer of your photos to look as something by your title. 5 because this rates along with most of the other images in this challenge.

The subject wasn't sufficiently strong for me to even see it until I read your title.

I feel the freighter domintaes the photo, my eye is not drawn to either of the sail boats, this is still a good photo, I just feel that it truely deines minimalism.

The title doesn't do the image justice. The red sailboat isn't strong enough to dominate the photo, though with different framing it has the potential to.

the ship seems like the focus of the image to me, the sail boat seems like a mistake.

A difficult image to comment on really, it has simplicity and is minimal, but the elegance I associate with minimalism is lacking
