I couldn't think of a better name, sorry y'all. I make jewelry to sell (when I get a chance to sell it that is), I even had my own website until recently but it wasn't cost efficient because I just couldn't afford to promote it. I make bracelets for the most part, but I also like to create earrings and necklaces. So, this challenge spoke to me since I spend a lot of time taking pictures of the things I make!
I took around 30 photos till I got this one and I thought it looked great considering the quality of lighting in my living room at 4 a.m. After choosing this photo I cropped, burned a bunch of imperfections in the velvet I used as the backdrop, cloned a glare that had been on the box and basically just cleaned up the messy bits. I also used auto levels and spot sharpened the eiffel tower charm.
I haven't participated in quite a while, mainly due to familial responsibilities, but maybe I'll get back into the swing of things now. If this doesn't do well then I think I'll wait till I get a better camera :) Thanks!
Oh yeah! The Tiffany box is mine, I bought a sterling silver perfume holder for myself because I just *had* to have something from Tiffany's. I thought my bracelet would look lovely in a Tiffany's box (if only!) :)

Overall a good theme and choice for composition lay-out.
In my opinion, the extreme light / dark is kind of hard on the eyes, and the light blue / turquoise clashes in this shot. (6)
Nice layout with the boxes, but your subject (the bracelet) is not displayed in an eye catching way. better to have kept it all in the box as the DOF isn't clear the way you have it now
That was a weird movie. JMO ;^) Nice piece of jewelry. I think it gets lost a bit with everything else in this image. Maybe just one box would have been better. One nitpick - there is some debris (dust) in the left front area of the navy box - should have got that.
