Thanks for the comments - in case anyone is still wondering what the point is ... Have you ever dialed a phone without looking at the numbers - because you know just where they are? Well, try doing that on this phone ... you might get a wrong number ...
I don't know why telephone keypads (at least in the USA) and computer keyboard numeric pads are different from each other, but it can be confusing!
I don't understand this at all. Can't you dial from handset #2? I can.
EDIT: OK - I get it - I didn't notice it at first because my number pad is the same way and actually I often type the numbers in the wrong order because of it!! LOL!!
