If the fence were parallel to the camera (making it more formal) and you could see the tops of the buildings in the background, this could be a much more captivating image. The shadow on at the bottom of the branch in the foreground could go, too.

Keep shooting this, it's not finished yet. Maybe crouch down and use those posts as a background theme - they look like thorns too. The red house is not effective.
