nah : ) .. any pics that make into the top 10 are usually pretty darn interesting. my best scored pics have both reached 13 and both generated some after the fact commentary. and i'm glad you put the chips in, I think that they definitely added that $ feel that really makes the 'poker difference (tm)'!
Well, I've seen lots of after-the-fact comments on other people's photos, but I never figured that my photo would be that interesting that others would come back and check to see if there were new comments :-)
What I really wasn't sure about was whether or not you actually used chips in strip poker, since I had thought you were supposed to bet clothes. But in the end I put them in cause they definitely seemed to my untrained eye to make it more poker-ish.
oh yeah, i was also going to say that obviously this wasn't a literal interpretation of strip poker. usually when people play, they don't play with such abandon that the cards, and chips are scattered all over in an entropic cloud ; ) . . Your picture actually might suggest a fantasy aftermath to the game itself, especially with the man's shirt on the woman's body.
That's my stomach, actually, if you hadn't figured that out already. It's actually my shirt also, but I chose it to look more masculine. Because it was me, I think I would have been a little uncomfortable with having my unmentionables draped over my body for all to see, and also I didn't want it to be so overtly sexual. The ace is in the place it is because it wouldn't stay any other way. Lighting is from a tissue-paper diffused lamp. Not knowing the rules of poker very well, and never having actually played strip poker, I suppose that might not be how you actually play it. But not having any other games around except a pack of playing cards I'd never opened, this was really my only idea. Do people actually read these things?
Beutiful picture, well framed. I love the curvature of the body and how the cards were placed. It is sexy with out showing anything but the body. I really like it.
Nice subject. I like the skin tone here. I would love to see this exact same shot in color with saturation down but a red ace of hearts on her belly. That image just popped into my head when I first saw this shot. It is usually a good thing when a photo makes me think of other options...it means the idea is a good one to start with :-)
I think it would be more striking with another garment instead of the shirt on the right hand side. Nive lighting, but that shirt just reminds me of my laundry. :-) Overall though, very nice. I like the soft touch that your pic has. Just next time, use a bra or nickers or something.... :-)
Ah -- going for the sex vote, huh? Just kidding -- nice shot. The camera angle looks a little funny. Did you shoot this one direction and then rotate it 180? All of the cards, chips, and shirt seem appropriately scattered except that AC placed almost perfectly in the center of the body. For some reason it bothers me -- I think it's the placement that does so. Nevertheless nicely toned and lit B&W. Good work.
This is a very nicely executed photo... Is that a shirt sleeve or some other article of clothing in the lower right corner? Good job! This is the first time I have scored a 'nude' or 'semi-nude' shot with a 10 on dpchallenge... good job!
This photo is gorgeous. The female torso is one of my favourite things, especially seeing as I do bellydancing as a hobby :). This is subtly erotic and beautifully photographed, if maybe a bit too deliberately posed. 10 from me.
