Warm lighting on this rock would have bumped up the shot quality. Looks like a rainy day.

Possibly, but the beauty does not emerge from this photo. Shooting an interested shot of a rock is a tough challenge, I admit. Perhaps relying more in dramatic lighting and contrast between light and shadow? This shot contains no immediate draw for the eye, and doesn't have any "wow" factor. 5.

There definitely is a nice, natural beauty to these stones. The raindrops make it even more so. And, while the purple flowers feel somewhat staged, I agree, the extra added color was helpful and added to the shot.
