This photo is straight out of camera with no toning, taken with my 50mm f/1.8 in a bar called Enormous Room in Boston. I was in Boston for the VII seminar...I've never been so inspired and I thought this photo appropriately represents everything I love about photography: human emotion, the perfect moment, nice light...
The only thing I'm unsure of is the title, but I don't have much time to submit as I just got home today (18th) at 8 am after a 12 hour drive.

What?!? 499 ?!? This is so under-rated!!!
I'm sure it is only due to the large amount of DPCers who has too dark screens.
If they missed that tiny light halo above the girl's shoulder, they missed the entire photo.
I think it's beautiful.
A little more light behind the people, to make their outlines stand out a little more would make this photo better, but I still like this one.
I like the shallow DOF, the tones, the silhouettes and the idea behind the photo.
i think i see what you're after, but don't think you got quite enough detail and/or outline along the left of the subject to really bring it out. there's just not enough there to keep me engaged.
This would be much cooler if there was a little light inbetween them to show the kiss a bit better. I have a bright LCD monitor and this still seems much too dark. I know you were going for a mysterious and dark feel....but honestly, it needs a little more to work. Nice idea and capture though.
