Intersting. I see what you are going for here, but even though it technically meets the challenge, it looks more like a study in negative space or silhouettes rather than fitting for a People challenge. imo.

INcredible! Brilliant comp. It would be better if you'd aligned the lips of both models, and receded the hair to get a smoother effect. Otherwise though, incredible! Top 10!

would have scored real good in a challenge 'vases'

Nice rendition of the classic negative/positive space illusion.

Classic! have never seen this other than a cut out -- nice

Very creative. Is the person on the left jutting their chin out?
Post actions
very clever. I like the way it's not a total mirror image, makes it more intersting

I'm a psychologist so I see illustrations of the figure-ground illusion all the time, but I had never thought to do one photographically. Well done!

Cool idea on negative & positive space. Sorry, but it's not my cup of tea for a people shot, though.

really good idea, the broken symmetry adds tension to the photo /8

Reminds me of those Sesame Street cut scenes where they are saying the words and the words are flowing out of their mouths. :0) 6

would work better if (his) head was down a bit more?

Nice silouhette. Nice job trying to recreate this classic.

Good idea, the symmetry being off a little makes the shot unbalanced. Good concept worth reshooting to even up the sides.
Post actions
Good concept, but I think if you're going to try to replicate that sketch you need to replicate it's symetry.
Post actions
ohh, the two faces are a little off from each other, but great idea... I'd have cropped a little more off the right side and I'm not sure a frame is necessary

Very good idea, but I wold say a beaker

no midtones. I see where your going, but not interesting.

A nice take on a classic. I think the person on the right could be a bit higher to make the vase more symmetric
Post actions
I like the border and great job acheiving the silhouettes.... though your vase looks crooked.
Post actions
i see the vase but what does it have to do with people? haha just jokin sounds like a dumb comment someone would say..like the idea though!
