Well seen and an unusual take on this challenge. Not sure if the building is abandoned or the field is, but regardless, the fencing seems to be taking top honors as a focal point instead of a building. Image is a bit soft/needing to be a bit sharper/clearer. (4)
I see the gate itself as abandoned, as evidenced by the lack of a fence on the one side.
Ahhh.... but is a gate a building? You knew you would get hammered submitting this didn't you (BTDT) :P

Nothing about this photo would suggest abandoned building to me. It suffers size and clarity issues probably due to the resize of the image. Perhaps a better subject would have made for a better photo for this challenge. Good luck in this challenge.
It's a little unclear what I should be focusing on in the picture. The fence seems like it should be the center of attention but looks lost to the background.
Composition could have been better - you cut off one end of the house. Also, because of positioning, it seems like the gate is the center of attention. Entire image is out of focus.
