One of several shots that I considered entering for the cemetery challenge. I found the Hebrew Cemetery to be fascinating and very moving. No flowers, just small pebbles left on the headstones from people who have visited. Some had many pebbles on them, many had none....
I'm not a photographer and don't really know anything but i find this photo very moving and i like the way, you have captured the texture of the headstone. There's something heartbreakingly peaceful about this image that i just can't my finger on. Maybe it is those pebbles.
