Outskirts of the ancient kingdom of Jaisalmer, India.
This village was abandoned 800 years ago, when Salem Singh - the cruel and notorious army chief of the Maharaja - threatened to ransack the village, if the rich and honourable Brahmin (high cast) residents refused to let him have a virgin maiden he had set eyes on. The inhabitants left overnight, and there was no trace of them since.

A doorway through a doorway . . .hmmm. Good color and shape, but I"m struggling with the view. The picture makes me feel like a child on my toes trying to see through the window. It feels like I'm missing something.
Interesting scene - nicely framed in the doorway, and interesting colour changes, very bold. Saying that the frame to me is missing something - an extra element (of some kind) would really have added much to the shot.
