I like the shapes here - it has potential as a fine shot. But ... well, processing lets it all down. over-exposed sun becomes almost nothing, the edges of the wing are blurred by compression artefacts if not actual focus. I'm certain you could have under-exposed this considerably, and brought the light back in processing, which would have caused less problems with the sun (and perhaps the lens flares), and the wing could happily have remained a silhouette - with the added advantage of confusing the viewer as to your angle relative to it. |
