little too tight on your crop and seems really dark. I'm assuming the camera metered the light off the building and blew out the sky. Try metering the sky and the building seperate then manually set your exposure somewhere in between. A polarizer filter may have helped the sky also. Good luck.
This is a charming old home. My suggestions for improvement would be to try to get a wider angle, and take the photo early in the AM or late in the day so the sky won't be blown out. and the house won't be so dark. There's only so much we can do in basic editing, but I think those 2 things might have helped. :)
