This is one of our cats. His name is Aries. He is very prissy and dosen't like to be touched too much. The light was provided by natural window light. I shot at an ISO of 1000, so I did use some noise software to help return some soft smoothness. I was also shooting at 300mm to achive the nice blurred feeling behind him. That was all done by the lens, not PS.

this is a really super portrait with good tight cropping . and he looks at the camera like a real pro, I t will be interestin when the results eventuate if, indeed these pets look like their owners. 9
Good composition and colour tone. The eyes are nice and bright as well. DOF could've been a little sharper, as it tens to bring the front part of the cat into blurry-land. Lighting is a bit lacking as well, as the sparks in the cat's eyes are not sharp (something very looked after). Nice background colour which mix well with the cat's fur. Lower Left part of the picture bugs me a little bit tho. 5
This is my second go-around =) - Excellent job!!! Very beautiful portrait and composition! It looks like you were playing around with the color of her eyes... I htink you could have blended the green and blu/green together a littl emore so that it looks more natural. However, overall I love it!
