One of about 50 or so shots that my wife and I setup with Ally, our 3 year old Border Collie. She was fairly patient with us, as was my pregnant wife who was holding the reflector and coaxing our zany dog to stay still, look at the camera, and look guilty. :)
Took this shot with the kit lens wide open (f3.5) and at 18mm, something would not normally do with this cheap lens. Still, I think the quality was sufficient for these purposes.
I expect about a 5.9. I also expect stiff competition and a lot of shots above 7.0. The world loves a cute pet shot.

I am laughing so hard. This is so great. I love that "Ok, you caught me, now what are you going to do" expression. I have 3 dogs, so I can certainly appreciate this scene whether it be staged or accidental. Great clarity. I like the angle of the shot. Nice lighting - not too harsh.
That one ear up in the air is so cute! I've seen this scene quite a number of times myself. This is a good environmental portrait and shows quite a bit of personality. Good lighting, exposure, and colors. Cute shot!
Not what I would consider a traditional "portrait", but I'm giving you a 10 anyway. The fact that the other elements in this are white makes them minor in my eyes, putting all the focus on the subject - great job

I personally don't care for the slanted angle of this shot, cute capture, but personally I would like to see a closer shot of the dog, all of the tp is a bit distracting in my opinion.

This rocks. Maybe I just like this kind of dogs, or bathrooms, or making a mess, or creative tilts, but this is just great. The one ear sticking up really makes it.
