I got the idea of the frozen duck soon after the challenge. I suspended the duck in a large tupperware, filled it with water and stuck it in the freezer. (All those frozen steaks I threw out were probably old anyway!) The next day on my way home from work I stoppend and picked up some blue semi-transparent paper, grapes, extra small googly eyes, and saw the little tools and had to get them. First step, select the proper grapes, give them eyes. Try to get both eyes pointing in the same direction. Make a couple of extra grapes as stand in's just in case one of the grapes gets an attitude and has an accident. I put a piece of white fabric on the table and covered the foreground with cotton. Prop up the ice block and pose the grapes. I put the blue paper behind the ice, and then an OTT lamp behind the paper. I wanted the ice to look glacial. Light source #1. An overhead lamp was setup to the upper right to provide light for the shot. Light source #2. I wanted to highlight the duck so a flashlight was propped on a handy plant stand shining on the duck. Lightsource #3.
After shooting was over and glacier had melted, found camera had white balance set for flash and all colors looked wrong. I don't really know my way around PS so this was the best I could make the picture look in the hour I had left to submit.
I had lots of fun with this one, just wish my technical skills were better so it looked how I wanted it to.

Very original. Gives me giggles the longer I look at it. Love the way you used ice as your water element, and I keep wondering how you made all the grapes look surprised and worried at the same time.
Having fun, were you? I like your idea. Did you actually freeze the ducky or is it some kind of plastic or glue? Ohm those little tools are great. The grapes look as if they didn't really know what to do with the duck :) 8.
Very Very Creative. I like the fact that I can actually see the eyes on the duck. However, blending the duck with the background is hard to see. It looks like the background is farther away and not connected with the duck. Perhaps some more detail or reflection in the ice. This could be a bit brighter as well. 5
This takoff of the wooly mammoth, (I think), is so darn funny...I love the little shovels and eyes on those grapes...my husband was looking at it and it was his favorite, good work on short notice!...9
