Taken at my first Toronto GTG. This picture was taken during the day but I was experimenting with under exposing pictures to see if I could get a shot with more drama. I did a little bit of dodging and burning to enhance the different tones of the sky and adjusted the hue to add a bit more purple. The statue is so worn down and I lost detail when downsizing - I’m hoping people don’t think my focus is soft.

those branches...very distracting...think about how nice this would be with nothing but that purple sky as a background...nice job here though....good clarity
This is my second go-around =) - It looks like your picture is a little over-sharpened, however, I really like the colors in the sky and your choice for statue. Overall I think you did a good job =)
I am making two passes on this Challenge. I will vote on your photo then return later(before voting is over) to comment on what I like and dislike about your shot. You can take the comments however you wish and I will try not to be mean. Just don't take it the wrong way.

I think there is too much background. I would crop it in a little tigher and see how it looks.
