My second submission; the first macro shot I have ever attempted with this camera-- a bit difficult as it is primarily a point and shoot type.
This is my interpretation of the Time challenge; the inspiration came as I shot this on the first day of Spring. It was a truly gorgeous day, and this flower had just opened.
I experimented with desaturating all but the (highly saturated) yellows in PSP8, and ended up with what I believe is a very pleasing result. I think having only the yellow showing in an otherwise grayscale image gives a sense of the start of spring; a time of awakening after the long winter.

nicely done! My only suggestion would have been to crop out the other yellow filled in objects to the left and bottom, just to keep the focus on the lovely flower. But only if the file size was large enough. It's not a major issue, but it just hits me because i'm obessive conpulsive.
Nicely done! I like the absence of color next to the flower. I might have removed the the balance of yellow from the front of the scene (distracts from the flower). Good Job!
