This was my first attempt at the Bridges 2 contest. I was psyched when I took it, because it came out basically as I had hoped. When I got home though, I noticed a black speck in the sky. Thought it was a bird, but on closer inspection discovered it was a dust speck on the sensor. :(
Since this was a basic challenge, I couldn't fix the picture. I ended up going out two days later trying to take the same picture. Interestingly enough, the light was very different (at the same time of day). Check out the photo I submitted to the challenge.
Photoshop CS:
- Curves to bring out more of the bluish color.
- Healing brush to remove a few sensor dust spots.
- Saturation increased for yellow and red (Bring out the lights a bit more).
- Sharpening after size reduction.
