pretty simple set-up; my friend Jacob throwing cards into my hat. ... told you it was simple. I just dont like the "flash shadow", but I don't have much to work with. Taken in the early morning after St Patrick's Day; hence all the green :)

Caught in mid-air! Choice of hat is excellent--other props, not so much. I think your idea for the challenge is good, but the lackluster background, the harsh shadow from the flash cast against the subject's hand....If you removed everything except the hat and the cards, what would you lose?
