i could have done without the title. pretty bears, doesn't do much for me to bring out a "best friends" feeling.

LOL. well, i'm sure you weren't going for the ribbon with this one. very funny though.. but perhaps "best friends" isn't the first thing that comes to mind here ;P. still, any image that evokes a positive response from me gets a decent score - a 6 here for humor alone.

I laughed so hard, I almost fell out of the chair. In a challenge portfolio filled with so many trite animal shots, this one was a pleasant surprise. I'm wondering if the shadow on the lower right hand corner is a bit of a distraction. I'm also thinking a shift to expose a fraction more of the object of desire (even some sort of a look at the face) would produce a more interesting shot. The trees in the background were distracting a bit, but of course I understand that short of photoshopping it out, it would have been impossible to achieve a blue sky. (I presume you couldn't direct the subjects to "shift a bit to the left" or to pose in a different location. haha.

Great lighting, but I think it misses the point of "best friends" for this challenge.

Maybe a better title would have been: " But... I just want us to be friends..." LOL

Great humoristic shot, with great definition. Congratulations on the very well captured intimate moment.
