I'm glad this won. I scanned through entries for this challenge and over all was very disappointed at how many were (to my mind) the kind of image that would have appeal to those featured (or those who knew them) but had little appeal to strangers.
This one stood out for me as being a universal representation of friendship.
Congrats!! This is an awsome picture. I somehow missed voting on this one as I had only voted on about half of the pics. This one though would have been my favs... Would love to know about the place of the shoot.
Well, if I had to pick a picture to lose to, I couldn't have picked a better one. Like I said earlier this makes me think of the tsunami survivors. It is a very well done and compelling shot. Congrats on the blue.
The first 10 I've seen in this contest. Excellent shot. Nice perspective, excellent placement of the figures (not in the middle - thank God) - beautiful shot.
This is a very nice shot, love the sunset, and the children in the picture, there's just always something innocent about children in a picture, however, it just seems very staged to me. Not a bad shot though, great 8
This shot evokes thoughts of the Tsunami which makes it take on a much deeper meaning in the best friends challenge. I love the colors and composition. Very nice job.
