This is a very nice and original idea. I'd like to see the brightness turned up. If you have a program where you can adjust levels, that would help a lot.
Very original idea - Composition is a little awkward though, too centered. I think it would have been much more interesting if it were taken from a different viewpoint.
Exposure, and color seem wrong. Also, it's a bit of a static pose. Yes, It's hard to believe but there must be sixty four ways of making sliced bread more dynamic.
One of the few times its good to add the challenge name into the title - very clever. Compostition is great but (on my monitor) I think the bread should be whiter.
