I had a lot of fun with the DPC group shooting pictures, just happened to find one flower sticking up pretty far, I believe that this is one of my best from that trip.
Now, I quite like this flower photo though I would perhaps have dodged the flower a bit and maybe it would have been better if it were a tad larger in the picture. I'm fond of the background though, especially the red part at the bottom.
However, I don't find this photograph to fit the lines challenge that well, there are perhaps few lines one notices but they are certainly not a major part of the picture.
pretty, like the composition, like the colors, fits the clhallenge. Only thing missing is impact. Better (less static) than most flower shots but it doesn't evoke a response more than pretty. 7 but will pass again.
Absolutely beautiful! I don't know which one of you submitted this, but I know I was with you that day! :) Excellent composition. Brilliant color. Pristine lighting and overall just an amazing photo!
