note: people generally respond to larger pictures, so try to maximize your 640 length. The picture: interesting and actually holds my eyes longer than I thought it would.
Of all the "blind" shots, this is my favorite so far. Your decision to place objects within the image to draw the eye was a good one. I submitted a "blind" shot to the backlight challenge and, though I liked the result a lot, I suffered in the voting due to lack of subject. I wish you had used all the pixels you had available to you. This image would have benefitted from the larger size.
There is something about your image that is really appealing, probably the simplicity, but I would have entered a larger image (probably get marked down for this) and have moved the curtain out of the way.
