Your photo for surrealism deserves a better mark, I adore it, and am sorry I didnt get there in time. Yesssss.....sometimes fact is more surreal than 'fiction'....nature being the 'ultimate' reality huh!

Someone after my own heart. I used to own a beautiful pair of twinned rhodochrosite crystals... better than anything in the Smithsonian. Great job with the lighting. Dunno how surreal it is, though...

Interesting idea, but I'm not sure you pulled off making this look surreal. I wonder what it would look like if you shot this in macro and blurred part of it.

The rocks are surreal but the presentation lacks it.
