 not quite what most people would think of when they think of surreal (to me REAL surreal is more subtle than outrageous). all the same, the pigeon looked freshly killed (poor thing + power lines = an occasion for this photo), the flare was a pure coincidence i din't even notice until i downloaded the pics off my camera, the green from the weeds growing out of the parking lot seem to have this eerie, verge-of-spring glow, and the pigeon itself looks so serene. just changed a colour level or two to lower the intensity of the blue.

Not liking this picture very much. Composition is wrong, frame is weak. Colours are dull and there is this flare on the upper right which drags away from the dead bird. On top of things, this is not surrealism, its reality. A good level adjustment in Photoshop would greatly help this picture, followed by a tighter crop to get right of the flare and car bumper. 3
