This one was hard...but you see what one can do with a sheet, candle, desk lamp, and insomnia! curves, contrast, brightness and crop!

Great idea by cropping as you did. Try moving the backdrop (paper or cloth) further away from the subject so that its out of focus, this will mean you don't see any texture in the white area of the photograph. nice work

great way to literaly interperate the challenge but still following what is mentioned for it with a light colored candle. 7
