(This is my second post...my first was the colored version. The discoloration in the forehead area was a bit obvious so I had it converted in BW and adjusted the tones via curves.)
Oppsss..BW is too bland so why not a compromise? My third version...went back to the original colored, adjusted saturation to -74 then manipulate the curves to emphasize the white. Hopefully, the final one.)
NOPE....I reverted back to BW.:)
I had my Nikon D70 fixed. Problem is, I asked Swanti to dress up in white sari today. so I borrowed a student's Cannon 300D to take this shot. Not bad.
PP is very simple curves and sharpening. I wish I can do more (and I will later).

Great photo Manny, just stumbeld upon it, did not vote this challenge.
What I like about this are the comments, normaly you got some 3 or four people asking, Manny, is that you (like I do)
But just by changing the kind of model you are less recognised
(Or would it be that you took this shot with a Canon Cam? ;-)
awesome concept.. I would never of thought putting someone with black/dark skin would work on a challenge like this.. Beautifully lit, beautifully implemented. I have seen 2 photos (so far, got a long way to go) this week which I think could be winners, this is one of them,, 10 marksimms
Wow! Great photo! The only critique I would make is your reflection in her eyes, which often is seen as a technical error. Although, in this photo (given the title) it can also have the positive effect showing you as part of her soul, in her soul, part of her, etc. Or, it gives the viewer the sense that they are looking at her in person. Either way, good shot!
