The subject is of a light colour, but the background is rather dark. The feathers would of been better on a white piece of paper.

...and the white background is to be found where??? This is an astounding photo, but is it really in keeping with the challenge. Were it not for the theme of this challenge, I believe this photo would score very well indeed.
