I would have given this a 10 if it wasn't cropped right through his eyeball...gives it a really wierd feel for me. I like the idea and the overall shot.
I gotta tell ya, this is a beautiful photograph except the half-cropped eye. That is way to erie for me. Distracts greatly from an otherwise outstanding image. To me this is enough to bring the grading down at least 3 points. <6>
this image will really evoke two sides...very interesting... the way the eye fades into the top of the photo, very creepy/mysterios/gory, lol... i don;t see how it fits the challenge though... but great job on the photo!
Nice image but I don't understand it. With a title thats more explanitory, you would have gotten a much higher score. Whats he doing? Playing in the dirt with pennies? Changing his oil and during the process discovered some penny jangling around in there? Was he begging? To open ended.
I'm not sure I understand this. I think it is meant to be sarcastic or ironic. The hands are way to clean. So is the face for that matter. I really like the eye being cropped off the way it is. It is very unconventional and disconcerting. Overall, a good image but too obviously staged. 7
