There seems to be some grey fringes around the red balls, which spoil the effect a little bit.

I don't think the desat does anything for you here, in fact, to me it's distracting.

Not getting the title, but the shot is very good except for the coloring on the red balls which gets fuzzy around the edges and detracts from the image.

I don't understand the title and I'm not sure about the choice of selective desaturation but the photo is still very well composed and executed and great for the challenge. 8
