nice image. at first i was going to say that i wasnt sure the black border was right for this, but it really DOES work. it helps to bring out the man's silhouette. and i love the composition in this. nice job.
The rod is hard to make out. It sort of fades into the background when it crosses above the water line. Might work better if shot from a higher angle so the whole rod would be silhouetted against the water (which is beautiful).
Try cropping off the top 1/4. Otherwise, a very fine photograph: lovely colours, rich reflections on the loch and a very vibrant sence of the passion of fishing.
I would have loved to score this higher, but the fact the top of his head and the rod merges with the land stopped me from doing so...still a nice shot.
My first impression was WOW - this will probably easily ribbon. Upon closer examination... same thing. ;-) Well, I did have one criticism - the angle could be just a tad higher so that the man's head is below the distant shoreline. Great work though!
