Being in the army in the early 70s This happen to be my first thought. VVM Green Hill Park, Worcester MA at near sundown. After a few more min the sky turned a fiery red "have some shots of that also" but it darkened everythig else to much. Would have lost the point.

great picture. seems a little underexposed though. looks like you metered off the pole, but unless you used a spot meter or center-weight or something else of that sort, the camera metered too much of the bright sky making the bottom half of the picture a bit too dark. just my two cents.
