I know I'm thinking a little outside the box on this one, but hey, the challenge details kind of promote it in this one. I'm sure many won't see it, but I just hope there are some that get it, know that this part of a guitar is called a bridge, and appreciate the photo, I can take the heat if at least a few like it. Anyway, this is my plaid Yamaha electric guitar. That is pretty much the real colors of the guitar. Tried to get an interesting perspective/composition that puts the main focal point on the bridge.
In PS : usm, curves, slight sat adj., and resize.
Thanks for checking out my pic. :-)

VERY COOL SHOT! True, better focus on the bridge would have made this a standout, but what can you do? Great interpretation and execution of concept, the composition is great.
LOL Now this is funny! I am talking about what you have there for the details.. :) I believe too there are enough guitar lovers here or musicians that would know what you were talking about. Hopefully the 11 that gave you 1's will learn something they must not have known what a bridge was on a guitar. I thought about doing a guitar too, but instead I entered my sons picture of a train. This one though is by far the nicest even if I had a done a guitar I couldnt get it to look like this .. I say that because I dont think I have ever seen a pattern design on a guitar like that nor do I have one :) This is really nice too you did a good job. I also think its in good focus and the colors or stripes make it almost blend in the middle.
ACK! It looks like the cover to a music book of 80's rock songs!
Excellent shot though, and great interpretation of the subject.
Seems to lack a little clarity, however.
Clever "bridge", but patterns on this particular guitar are too busy for me. A highly polished wood veneer would have been more stunning, in my opinion.
Cool shot...would have worked a little better if the bridge and tail piece were in focus. Also the reflection (or tear in the clear coat) bottom left is a tad bit distracting. I like the color scheme on your axe, pretty neat. Very good composition.
