Ya know, the grain kinda works for me here. It's a very unique mood. With that, though, I'm not sure the crisp white border fits in. Would love to have this shot shifted down and to the right a little bit.

You're gonna get beaten up by all the anti-grain people, but I think this looks sorta cool, like pointillism or something. I think the composition could be a bit more effective, maybe shifting down a bit to include more of the eye in the frame.
