while i appreciate what you've attempted here, i am left feeling that i am seeing more "red" than "you, mad". i know this wasn't easy, but i can't help but feel that the image would be stronger if a little more of your face, especially your eyes, had come through. good luck!
Uff... just a very weird image. But, by the other side, I usually appreciate images which are different. Did you use "painting with light" in this image? 7
